Summer: Student residence C (half board)
The student residence is located in the 9th district of Vienna.
The single rooms are equipped with shower only (toilet on the floor).
The double rooms have shower and toilet in the room.
Every room has a small refrigerator.
Half board includes breakfast and lunch or dinner and starts with breakfast on the first day of the course (no dinner served on Sunday evening) and ends with breakfast on the day of departure.
The offered meals are “Standard Austrian Cuisine” (e.g. for breakfast bread or roll, butter and jam). For lunch/dinner the students can choose between a vegetarian meal (might also be a sweet plate) and a meal with meat.
Important: You have to pay a key-deposit of € 50.- directly to the janitor of the residence on the first day. The deposit will be paid back at your departure, if you have not caused any damage in your room.
The residence has a 24-hour reception but is closed from 1.00 – 5.00 a.m. If students come later than 1 a.m., they have to pay an opening fee of € 3/person.
The residence has a library, a laundry (tokens can be purchased in the office of the residence, fees: € 3.- per washing), a cafeteria, a music room, a TV-room and sport facilities (e.g. table tennis).
Bed-sheets are provided; please bring your own towels.
Internet access (glass fibre, fair use): € 29 per month
Distance to cultura wien: appr. 20 minutes with public transport.
Only available from July – September.
