cultura wien has been established since 1987 and has achieved its excellent reputation through first-class language teaching and a friendly and personal atmosphere, both of which are essential to your learning and feeling at home in a foreign country.

We pay individual attention to every student in order to create a unique learning environment designed to challenge students.

Our experienced staff and teachers select the most appropriate German course for you, always have time to answer your questions, to assist you on practical matters, give information and accompany you on cultural or social activities.

We have welcomed students from more than 60 countries over the past years. The average age of our students is 22-28 years, slightly younger during the summer term.

cultura wien is a member of Campus Austria, an association of Austrian language schools, which offer German courses. Campus Austria is recognised by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture. The membership is based upon self-imposed strict quality criteria, high teaching quality according to the latest guidelines, a commitment to constant in-service teacher training and regular inspection of all the services the school has to offer.

cultura wien is an examination-centre for the internationally recognised "Austrian Language Diploma" ("Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch")
